DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar today released its third annual national survey of public attitudes on the U.S. civil justice system, focused on class action suits, court funding and views of corporate sectors. Among other results, the survey, produced by Langer Research Associates, finds that Americans hold more negative than positive views of class-action lawsuits across four key measures – and that most favor new laws on who can join such suits and on how the lawyers who file them are paid.
