Research Analyst Jaclyn S. Wong received her Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Chicago and is an expert in qualitative and quantitative research. She has collected and analyzed in-depth interview data as well as survey data, and specializes in longitudinal and dyadic data analysis. Her book, “Equal Partners? How Dual-Professional Couples Make Career, Relationship, and Family Decisions,” was published by University of California Press in 2023 and received a 2024 American Sociological Association Sex & Gender Section Distinguished Book Award Honorable Mention. She has published 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and has given dozens of presentations at national conferences and invited lectures. Her research has been covered by outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NPR Codeswitch. Before joining Langer Research, she was an associate professor of sociology at the University of South Carolina.
